OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Gas Engineer on behalf of a well-established plumbing and heating company based in Gloucester.

The Domestic Gas Engineer will be responsible for the installation and servicing of domestic boiler and heating systems in private homes throughout Gloucestershire. 

Responsibilities

  • Domestic gas and heating systems.
  • Boiler installations and system conversions.
  • Full heating installations.
  • Servicing and issuing landlords certificates
  • Experience with boiler fault finding.

Skills & Attributes

  • Qualified Gas Safe engineer, ideally you will hold current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1
  • Asbestos Awareness – desirable
  • Experience working with S and Y plan, desired but not essential
  • Unvented Cylinders
  • Working at heights
  • Manual handling
  • Electrical experience – Part P desirable.
  • Oil and LPG – desirable.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence.
  • Must have hand tools (power tools and gas analyse will be provided)
