Overview
We are currently recruiting for an Electrician on behalf of a bespoke electrical and mechanical engineering company who manage the complete mechanical engineering process including design, manufacture and commissioning. They mainly work within Water Utilities.
Operating over 35 years, they are a family owned organisation who have gained a reputable name within the industry for their high-quality work and excellent customer service.
They have a client base which boasts some of the biggest names in the engineering sector. Mainly working within the Waste Water and Clean Water industries they provide a range of services including surveying through to design, fabrication, installation and implementation.
The Electrician will hold a technical role within the company and should set examples of excellent conduct and professionalism. The position is primarily a service and support role of the Company’s product range which is installed on wastewater treatment plants through the UK. Installation and commissioning works will also be a requirement for the Company’s product range as well as telemetry systems, instrumentation, and control panels.
This is a permanent position reporting to the Leeds office, Working Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday. The salary is paying £40k – £43k per annum. Perks include Van & Fuel Card, private use of van, door to door travel, overtime, pension, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, training & development etc.
This role is mainly site based and involves daily travelling and some overnights. Travelling and overnight stays are essential for this role. Ideally we are looking for someone South Yorkshire based as they would be covering Severn Trent Wastewater sites (amongst others).
