Our client is looking to recruit a Field Sales / Business Development Engineer to join its well established team on a permanent basis to help expand on current accounts and develop new business through sales of both new products and aftermarket service.
Candidates will have a large portfolio of products at there disposal alongside aftermarket services provided by the business to support clients for years to come.
Candidates will have a demonstrable background working within a Sales Engineering role within the Valve sector ideally with experience working with Controls Valves however this is now essential.. A solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering is a must for this role to ensure that the best customer service is given.

Role Description
The successful candidate will have a range of duties including:
-Managing and evaluating client queries
-Providing quotations and delivery information to secure orders
-Liaising with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
-Developing strong customer relationships and establishing opportunities for adding value and delivering solutions
-Working closely with internal sales team and other colleagues to meet annual targets
Skills & Attributes
Candidates must:
– Demonstrable experience working within the Mechanical Engineering Sector within a Sales role
– Strong Valve knowledge – Ideally Control Valves
-Be highly motivated, driven and independent
-Have the ability to work well under pressure
– Full, Clean UK Driving License.
