OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

Due to expansion we are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of family-run vending company based in Stoke.

They have been established for 50 years and provide vending machine services to a range of sectors including offices, schools and hospitals.

As the Field Service Engineer, you will provide a high-quality service to customers across the Midlands, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and surrounding counties. Your main aim is to provide a friendly and professional customer service and to fix jobs on the first visit.

We are ideally looking for candidates with a positive and proactive approach who have previous experience working on coffee machines and vending machines.

 

Role Description

  • Prepare machines for installation as well as installing machines on customer sites.
  • Repair and fault-find a range of machinery/equipment such as vending equipment, water coolers and boilers.
  • Try to maximise first time repairs in order to prevent further problems in the future.
  • Address all calls within 4 hours and make sure they are attended to in the priority order they are assigned in.
  • Ensure that your vehicle is equipped with correct parts in order to improve first time fix rate.
  • Build and maintain friendly relationships with customers and staff.
  • Attend training courses when required.
  • Provide a good customer service and adhere to policies and procedures at all times.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous service experience working on coffee machines and vending machines.
  • Good technical knowledge of vending machines and coffee machines.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A positive and proactive individual who can use their own initiative aswell as working in a team.
