Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician on behalf of a successful interior construction contractor. They offer a wide range of services including interior design & fit-out, electrical contracting, energy solutions and more.

Established over 30 years, they have a workforce of over 50 employees. They mainly work in the commercial, industrial and retail sectors. They often work on retail outlets, office blocks, warehouses, restaurants and showrooms. Clients include the likes of North Face, Ford, Asda, B&Q etc.

As the Electrician you will join the service and maintenance team working on electric car chargers. All training will be provided. They have work nationwide so there will be travel involved and occasionally working away. If you do work away they will provide accommodation and a £25 per night food allowance.

This is a permanent position, paying £37.5k per annum, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week. Perks include van & fuel card which can be used for personal use, paid door to door travel, overtime, pension and 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays. This will rise to 28 days after 5 years.

Responsibilities

• To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM’s are completed within the contract defined time SLA’s & KPI’s.
• Also able to carry out installation work when required.
• Ensure the Client, Customer and Team are ‘kept in the loop’ through feedback and regular updates.
• Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer.
• To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.

Skills & Attributes

• 18^th Edition or relevant qualification.
• Happy to travel and work away when required.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
• Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
