The Opportunity

Having recently successfully been awarded several new contracts this well-established and respected national Mechanical & Electrical Contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator. You will be involved in putting together tender packages and estimates on a variety of projects from a few £000 up to £5M services value. Projects include offices, schools, colleges, luxury apartments, factory units and retail developments.

The Role

You will be working with the Senior Estimator compiling tenders and Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Rates etc. You will be involved in pricing tenders, sub-contractor evaluation and comparisons, liaising closely with sub contractors when successful with a tender.

Tendering/ estimating design and build projects in the Building Service Industry from residential flats to office blocks.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a Mechanical Services Engineer with at least 2 years estimating experience gained with a Contractor. Ideally have experience of using estimating package such as Estimation.
