Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Plumber on behalf of a successful 24-hour drainage and plumbing company who cover London and the South East.

Operating over 15 years, they provide a range of services including plumbing, drainage maintenance, CCTV drainage surveys, vacuum jetting and excavation & ground works.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified plumber who has experience in commercial reactive and maintenance plumbing. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and can work on all aspects of hot, cold and heating plumbing systems in commercial buildings.

Hours are 8-5, Monday – Friday, but you must be flexible with paid overtime as they are a 24h company.

There may be some flexibility to raise to £40k on completion of a successful 12 week probation. It would depend on experience and performance shown by the candidate over their probation.

Responsibilities

• Installing hot water heaters 10-250 litres
• Repair and replacing macerator and sump pump units
• Changing commercial pressure reducing valves and TMV’s
• Draining whole building hot and cold water systems to carry out repairs
• Changing radiators on commercial systems
• Replacing and repairing drainage pipework for sinks, toilets and urinals
• Installing and repairing leaks to toilets, basins, sinks, urinals etc

Skills & Qualifications

• Level 2 or Higher qualification in Plumbing.
• G3 unvented and Water Regs would be beneficial.
• Experience working on commercial sites.
• Confident working on pipework from 15mm – 50mm.
• Able to use an electronic freeze kit and Mapress gun for crimp fittings.
• Good communication and customer service skills. This is extremely important as you must be able to complete detailed job cards and speak with clients on sites.
• Full UK Driving License.
