Overview

Due to growth we are currently recruiting for a Plumber on behalf of a well-know and successful FM and HVAC contractor.

Operating over 10 years, they have over 200 members of staff working for them and multiple offices in the UK.

They cover a range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Local Government & Retail. They have a large portfolio of clients including Aldi, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence, Schools, NHS etc.

The successful candidate will be versatile and carry out both maintenance and installation work.

This is a permanent position, covering Yorkshire, paying £38k – £40k per annum depending on experience. They may consider more for the right candidate. Perks include Van & Fuel Card. Private use of van is allowed. Plenty of overtime and weekend work available. They also have a bonus scheme. Pension. 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Responsibilities

• To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM’s are completed within the contract defined time SLA’s & KPI’s.
• Also able to carry out installation work when required.
• Ensure the Client, Customer and Team are ‘kept in the loop’ through feedback and regular updates.
• Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer.
• Communicate daily with helpdesk/Supervisor regarding status of PPM and Reactive tasks.
• To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.

Skills & Attributes

• Have a relevant plumbing qualification.
• Experience working within FM or the building maintenance industry.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
• Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
