Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer on behalf of a national provider of sustainable heating solutions.
Operating for over 35 years, they have hundreds of staff working for them across multiple offices in the UK.
Their services include the design, installation, maintenance and management of plant rooms and heat networks on behalf of local authorities, universities, factories, housing associations, private landlords and utility energy suppliers.
The Resident Liaison officer will assist in arranging appointments and liaising between the various stakeholders to ensure the continued success of the project and installations.
This is a permanent position, covering Wakefield, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The salary is paying £28k – £32k per annum. You will also receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension, private healthcare, training schemes and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Arranging mutually convenient installation and maintenance appointments.
- Completing required paperwork and agreements with tenants (both S2 and client)
- Managing the tenant vulnerability database and ensure any tenants requiring further assistance have this arrange prior to works been undertaken.
- Providing instruction and support to tenants on the system that is being installed before, during and after installation.
- Training and informing the occupier/homeowner on the operation of the equipment installed within their dwelling and setting equipment/systems up to the customer’s specific requirements were applicable.
- Compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, with specific responsibility for the health safety and welfare of all personnel within their control including themselves and for ensuring the overall safe and compliant planning, implementation, and monitoring of all activities.
- Attend and contribute towards tenant consultation, as required, to ensure that all tenants have an in-depth understanding of the heating upgrade taking place within their property.
- To maintain a comprehensive appointment register and ensure all jobs logged are passed the Internal Operations Teams.
- To maintain a high level of organisation including ensuring all paperwork for the installations are completed and returned.
Skills & Attributes
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Takes ownership of problems and actively resolves them
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Ability to prioritise work effectively.
- Ability to manage own time.
- A full, clean, valid UK driving licence.
