Apex M&E Solutions is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for an established building services consultancy in Chesham.

Reporting to the Principal Design Engineer, you’ll develop mechanical services designs from the initial brief through detailed design and project delivery. You’ll work directly with clients, make technical decisions and manage the costs and programmes associated with your projects.

• A role in developing others: guide engineers, technicians and trainees, and contribute to internal design standards.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have a strong background in mechanical building services design and be comfortable taking responsibility for your work.

You should be confident developing designs, applying relevant UK standards and regulations, coordinating with other disciplines and managing project deadlines and costs. Experience undertaking surveys, preparing technical reports and supporting less experienced colleagues will also be valuable.
