The Opportunity

A challenging and interesting new opportunity has been created for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join this leading, well established Building Services Contractor. The business works in a variety of industries including Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Process, Healthcare, Leisure and Residential. Projects ranging from a few hundred thousand up to £3M M&E services value.

The Position

As the Senior Project Engineer you  will be working in co-ordination with the design and projects team and Directors. The position offered covers but is not limited to the following expectations: –

• Direct communication with the client/architect/design team at pre-tender stage to evaluate specific requirements for projects.
• Outline budget costings for projects.
• Production of working drawings and schematics to send to CAD department for issue.
• Highly organised with a logical and disciplined approach to deadlines.
• Excellent written skills for specification /report writing.
• Excellent verbal communication skills is essential.
• Carrying out estimates for tenders and contracts.
• Project managing site engineers is desirable but not essential.
• Carrying out invoicing of projects in full co-ordination with our clerical staff.

The Person

• HNC in Building Services Engineering as an absolute minimum.
• 10+ Years’ experience in the Building Services Engineering industry for senior grades.
• An in depth knowledge of HVAC systems
• Ability to use Windows 10 and Microsoft Software.
• Experience with electronic mail systems, Outlook and the Internet.
