Overview

We are recruiting for an Acoustics Consultant at Senior Or Principal level to join the expanding Acoustics division at a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. This position can be based from either the Head Office in Central London or the Farnborough office dependent on the location of suitable candidates.

The Acoustics Consultant will be involved in a wide range of high profile projects within Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare and Industrial sectors.

Role Description

• Support the full range of consultancy services from feasibility and planning through design and construction to completion.
• Collaborate with clients, team members and senior colleagues on a wide range of projects across sectors including commercial, retail, residential, education etc
• Leading the acoustic input, undertaking predictions and writing reports on a range of projects.
• Ensuring timely delivery of projects to the highest standards.
• Support the Head of Acoustics throughout all aspects of major projects.

Skills & Attributes

• Previous experience in the Architectural, Environmental & Building Services Acoustics arena ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Educated to Bachelor degree level in Acoustics (or closely related subject) and/or hold the Institute of Acoustics Post Graduate Diploma.
• Accreditation from the Association of Noise Consultants
• Full valid membership of (MIOA) Institute of Acoustics
• Detailed knowledge and appreciation of the needs and perspectives of other design disciplines.
• Full valid driving licence
