OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a number of Site Installers on behalf of a bespoke mechanical engineering company who do anything from design, to manufacture, to commissioning to the engineering and water sectors.

They are a family owned organisation which have been running since 1988 and have gained a reputable name within the industry for their high-quality work and excellent customer service.

They have a big client base including some of the biggest names in the engineering sector. They mainly work within the Waste Water and Clean Water industries and provide a range of services including surveying through to design, fabrication, installation and implementation.

Working on a variety of interesting projects the ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to consistently work to high standards.

Experience in a similar role would be advantageous although training will be provided.

These positions are available for immediate starts.

 

Role Description

As one of the Site Installers, you will work on a range of projects throughout the North London area. The work is very varied, which can be from maintenance work of items such as pipework, valves and handrail platforms to carrying out new installations of such items due to health and safety requirements.

 

Skills & Attributes

  • Practical knowledge of engineering
  • Experience of site installation
  • Water industry experience (good to have)
  • Welding and fabrication skills (beneficial)
  • Mechanical background
  • Civils experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of engineering drawings
  • Good knowledge of site procedures and health and safety requirements
  • Full UK Driving licence – preferably up to 7.5t
  • CSCS
