OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity

A challenging and interesting opportunity exists for an experienced Validation Engineer to work for this global leading Pharmaceutical manufacturer and developer. Based in southern Ireland on a 12 month contract.

The Position

As the Validation Engineer your responsibilities will involve managing, inspecting, calibrating, testing and modifying the instrumentation, equipment, mechanics and procedures used in the manufacturing process. Ensuring all systems are running correctly and efficiently to produce high-quality products

  • Assisting the inhouse Validation Engineer with multiple manufacturing and packaging PV executions this year – PM and execution
  • To provide gap analysis for their PV system, identifying / recommending / implementing improvements where required
  • To provide gap analysis to their existing PVs against the improved system and retrospectively close out any gaps

The Person

  • Must be an experienced Engineer who has the ability to lead and co-ordinate process validations
  • Mentoring and coaching junior staff
  • Pharmaceutical experience is essential
