The Opportunity

Continued growth has created an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years current UK building services experience. Services include the electrical supplies for buildings covering HV and LV power, generators and UPS systems, lighting, fire alarm and fire suppression systems, access control, intruder detection, CCTV and alarms, data and telecommunication cabling,

The Position

Reporting directly to the Project Director you will be responsible for taking all aspects of the design and specification of building services installation including meeting with Clients, the Project Team and the delivery of services to Clients. You will also be required to undertake surveys of existing installations and prepare condition reports and recommendations for refurbishments and replacement. You will undertake inspection and monitoring of installations for quality and compliance with the design and specification, and witnessing of commissioning.You may also be required to undertake the duties of Project Manager and/or Contract Administrator.

The Person

We require a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience across a range of sectors with good computer and communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Amtech and Dialux, is essential, TAS, Cymap, AutoCAD and Revit software packages would be an advantage.

You will have or be working towards a Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) accredited qualifications such as BEng (Hons), or BSc.You will be expected to have current Health and Safety and Asbestos Awareness training and a Professionally Qualified Persons CSCS skill card (or equivalent).
