Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer on behalf of a HVAC Contractor based in Lancashire.

Established over 30 years, they are a family run business who offer their services to a range of sectors such as commercial, industrial, retail and leisure.

The Commercial Gas Engineer will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on Commercial Gas systems for a wide variety of properties across the North West. There is a variance between local work and staying away servicing and repairing mostly on warm air and radiant heaters and the odd boiler.

Responsibilities

• Work on Gas Heating equipment mostly warm air and radiant.
• Day to day responsive and preventative planned maintenance works across a varied and wide range of commercial heating systems.
• Response service, fault diagnosis, repair and renewal works.
• Planned preventative maintenance works.
• Maintenance and upkeep of Plant Rooms and associated equipment.
• Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.
• Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs.

Skills & Attributes

• Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications.
• Previous experience working on commercial heating systems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
• An eye for detail and a desire to work to a very high standard.
• Full UK Driving License.
