Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager for an immediate start for a new 5 floor project at Bishopsgate. It is a cat A to cat B, office fit out over 5 floors and is programmed to run for six months. This could go permanent for the right candidate.

As the Project Manager, you will manage and coordinate all mechanical subcontractors. – pipefitters, laggers, AC, leak detection, BMS, ducters, water treatment and commission engineers. You will be overseeing around 25 – 30 operatives at one time.

The correct candidate will need to be capable of marking out builders works, write weekly project reports, issue technical submissions, coordinate deliveries, produce O&M’s (template issued for this) attend weekly coordination & progress meetings with the main contractor, day to day site checks etc.

You will have a supporting supervisor to assist with all works as 2-3 floors will be running at one time.

The successful candidate will need previous experience working in similar roles and will need a Black CSCS card. They will ideally need to know pipework systems and be capable of reading drawings, schematics etc.

Site hours will be Monday to Friday 7:30/08:00 – 16:00 with the option of weekends when available.

This role is paying £250 – £300 per day depending on experience.
