Overview

We are currently recruiting for a number of Electrician’s on behalf of a well-established maintenance and refurbishment contractor based in the South West.

Operating for over 20 years, they have recently secured a long-term contract to provide maintenance services at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, Porton Down, Wiltshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious person to join a forward thinking and proactive business who prides itself on quality, safety and encouraging great teamwork. This is a maintenance role mainly working on domestic systems but may also include a bit of commercial work.

Responsibilities

• Response service fault diagnosis, repair and renewal works.
• To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM’s are completed within the contract defined time SLA’s & KPI’s.
• Ensure the Client, Customer and Team are ‘kept in the loop’ through feedback and regular updates.
• Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer.
• To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.

Skills & Attributes

• 18^th Edition or relevant qualification.
• Experience working within FM or the building maintenance industry.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
• Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
