Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Gas Service Engineer and a Domestic Gas Installer on behalf of a successful family run heating contractor who specialise in commercial and domestic heating services.

Established over 25 years, they provide service, repair and installation heating services to their customer base throughout Redcar, Middlesbrough, Teesside, Cleveland and North Yorkshire.

We have one position available in the service and repair team, and one position available in the installation team.

You will be professional, organised, methodical, customer service driven, a good communicator and prepared to use their in-house job management system. Their business is built on professional workmanship, very high standards of customer service and customer retention and they hope the successful candidate can follow this path. We are looking for candidates with experience across all major manufacturers.

The salary is paying up to £42k per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The standard contract is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. Optional overtime / Saturday morning work is often available. Benefits include Van & Fuel Card, pension, 22 days holidays + bank holidays, overtime and bonus opportunities and opportunities to grow and develop. There is no call out rota for either of these roles. The company can also offer opportunities to progress within the business.

Ideally we are looking for candidates based within 15 miles of Redcar.

Skills & Attributes

• Domestic Gas Qualifications.
• OFTEC, LPG and Commercial are beneficial, but not essential.
• An eye for detail and a desire to work to a very high standard.
• Good customer service skills.
• Be able to work unsupervised.
• Able to adhere to Health and Safety legislation at all times.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
