We are recruiting for a Principal Security Consultant on behalf of leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Central London.

The Principal Security Consultant will be responsible for the design of electronic security systems for a wide range of projects including Commercial, Retail, Education and Sports and Leisure developments.

Role Description
• Design of electronic security systems including IP Surveillance, Intelligent Automated Access Control, Intruder Detection and PSIM/Enterprise integration platforms in accordance with appropriate industry standards.
• Provide technical advice and design requirements to clients and design teams for individual buildings
• Overall delivery of high level security strategies to developers, masterplanners and owner occupiers for single/multiple sites from planning stages through to implementation stages.
• Oversight and review of designs for projects according to relevant Standards/ Codes.
• Management of projects to programme and budget.

Skills & Attributes
• Have a relevant academic and/or installation background
• Membership of a relevant professional body.
• Highly presentable with a high attention to detail, and be able to converse professionally with clients.
• Experience of security design and installation of Integrated Electronic Systems.
• Knowledge of convergence of systems and ensuring all networks are suitable in accordance with applicable bandwidth loads.
• Design experience with Biometrics, facial recognition, security control rooms, data rooms, cabinet equipment layouts, Thermal Imaging, Video Analytics, RFID, WIFI applications, PAVA, panic alarms, wireless systems, data encryption and intelligent video intercom systems.
