We are currently recruiting for a Security System Engineer on behalf of a well renowned and rapidly expanding Alarm and CCTV provider based in West Yorkshire.

Established over 10 years ago the company are set up to install, service and maintain a wide range of security systems at both Domestic and Commercial premises. As proud and approved members of the BSI (British Standards Institute) & NSI (National Security Inspectorate) they pride themselves on the high quality of service they provide to their customers.

The Security System Engineer will be responsible for the installation of Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems at a range of Commercial and Domestic sites.

This role will be covering areas in Yorkshire including Wetherby, Harrogate, Ripon, Leeds and York.

Role Description

• Install and maintain Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems to a high standard.
• Service and maintenance on existing installations to return their operation to normal.
• Ensure that work is carried out in line with Company and Customer deadlines on installations
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
• Meet with clients and ensure a first class service delivery when on-site. 

Skills & Attributes

• Have a proven track record of installing Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Must have previous network experience work will include Routers and IP equipment
• Good Knowledge of Texecom, Pyronix & Honeywell systems, both wired and wireless
• Experience working with Police response monitored systems
• Eager to learn new equipment and must be able to communicate effectively with customers.
• Excellent customer service
• Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• The ability to work on your own and show initiative
• Full UK driver’s license
• Available for out of Hours call out on a 1 week in 4 rota.
