Overview

Due to expansion we are currently recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer on behalf of a specialist building services contractor based in North Yorkshire.

We are looking for an experienced Gas Heating Engineer to work on commercial sites around the North and West Yorkshire area. This is very much a hands-on role; working directly for the Operations Director to ensure work is produced to a high standard in a timely manner.

We are looking for a well-organised individual who has good communication skills and an adaptable work style. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on commercial gas boilers.

Responsibilities

• Day to day responsive and preventative planned maintenance works across a varied and wide range of commercial heating systems.
• Response service, fault diagnosis, repair and renewal works.
• Planned preventative maintenance works.
• Carry out other general building services ppm when required.
• Ensure all certification and documents are completed accurately.
• Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.
• Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs.

Skills & Attributes

• Valid Commercial & Domestic Gas Qualifications.
• Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment
• Be able to work unsupervised.
• Able to adhere to Health and Safety legislation at all times.
• Full, clean driving licence.
