I am currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join a well established HVAC building services client in Manchester. This opportunity has arisen due to rapid expansion, and requires the design and estimation of all forms of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and mechanical systems within commercial and retail properties.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience working with an M+E environment looking after projects from cradle to grave. A bias towards Heating and Ventilation is essential, alongside strong contract/account management skills.

The position is a permanent role based at the head office in Manchester, however site visits will be a necessity – Company Vehicle Allowance provided

Role Description
-Design and Estimation of heating/ ventilation/ air conditioning/ plumbing/ mechanical systems
-Liaising with clients/ contractors/ employees/ suppliers on daily basis
-Working in commercial and retail properties
– Contract Handovers
-Cost control and profitability
-Problem solving and testing, and ensuring clients needs are met
-Site visits
-Securing ongoing service and maintenance contracts

Skills & Attributes
-Experience working within an M+E Contracts management role within commercial/ retail environments
-Demonstrable experience as a contract or account manager
-Technical knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical installations
-Full UK Driving License
– Relevant Engineering qualifications (HNC/ HND)- Desirable
