Overview

Due to rapid growth of the business we are currently recruiting for a Domestic Gas Engineer on behalf of a leading international boiler manufacturer.

Operating in a number of countries they have over 10,000 employees around the world and are still growing in size. They have been established for over 100 years and are a leading manufacturer of heating systems, industrial systems and refrigeration systems.

As the Gas Engineer you will be responsible for servicing and repairing the company’s domestic product range. You will be covering a number of customer’s homes throughout the London area.

We are looking for a well-organised individual who has good communication skills and an adaptable work style. The ideal candidate will be an experienced gas engineer who is able to demonstrate technical expertise gained through industry experience

Role Description

• Day to day responsive and preventative planned maintenance works across a varied range of domestic heating systems.
• Response service fault diagnosis, repair and renewal works.
• Support the sales team in the development of sales.
• Attend training courses when required.
• Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices.
• Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs.

Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified Gas Engineer.
• Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment.
• Good communication skills and comfortable liaising with clients.
• Well organised and able to work on own initiative.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving License.
