Overview

We are currently recruiting for 2 Domestic Gas Engineers on behalf of a well-established, mechanical, electrical, building services and renewable energy contractor.

Operating for over 35 years, they are now part of a bigger group. The group is made up of 3 companies. Together they employ over 260 members of staff and turnover £60+ million a year.

Their clients include Social Housing, Local Councils, Housing Associations, Town Halls, Libraries, Museums, Theatres, Offices, Warehouses, Hotels, Schools, Colleges and Universities.

They are permanent positions working 40 hours per week, 8am – 5pm. Perks include Van & Fuel Card, Overtime, 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Pension, Annual pay rises, Annual appraisals, a share incentive plan, training opportunities etc. Call out rota is 1 in 5.

The position will be working North London/Essex borders.

Responsibilities

• To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM’s are completed within the contract defined time SLA’s & KPI’s.
• Periodic Maintenance of Domestic Gas Boilers.
• Adhere to the out of hours call out rota (as required).
• Correct and timely completion of paperwork according to company policy and procedure.
• Logbook auditing, Tablet interface via the clients CAFM application.
• To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.

Skills & Attributes

• Domestic Gas Qualifications are essential.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
• Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
