Overview

Due to expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer on behalf of a leading supplier of products and services to the UK petroleum industry. They specialise in the sales and service of fuel dispensers, forecourt equipment and wash systems.

Established over 100 years, they now have headquarters in 30 countries and employ over 3,500 members of staff worldwide.

Covering over 3000 sites across the UK, the company are part of a larger group who are well-recognised for their great work in the industry.

You will be responsible for Servicing and maintaining a suite of Petrol Station Equipment including Dispensers, Tank gauges, Pipework and Fleet Management Solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Daily diagnostic testing, troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment.
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain and enhance customer relationships.
• Produce timely and accurate service reports.
• Ensure all calls are attended promptly and within set SLA.
• Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order at all times.
• Ensure compliance with set HSSE guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering HNC/HND (equivalent) or relevant experience.
• Experience of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Electronic repairs to PCB level.
• Ability to voltage test AC/DC single and three phase supplies.
• Experience working within the forecourt industry would be beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to interact confidently and professionally with end customer.
• Flexible approach with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Working at Height.
