Overview

Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for a number of Gas Engineers on behalf of a family run plumbing and heating company.

Established over 10 years, their customer portfolio consists of home owners, property management companies, insurance companies and estate agents.

Reporting to the office in Hemel Hempstead, you will be responsible for carrying out boiler servicing, installation and breakdown work to their customer portfolio.

Earnings of up to £65k available from overtime, performance bonus and call out.

Responsibilities

• Boiler servicing.
• Boiler installations.
• Landlord Gas Safe Certificates.
• Boiler Break downs on all models of boilers.
• Report writing and sending photos.
• Installing Gas cookers and hobs and range cookers.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Changing central heating pumps and 2 ports and 3 ports.
• Power flushing.
• Working on cylinders, unvented and fault finding and changing parts.
• To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.

Skills & Attributes

• Must be Gas Safe Registered.
• Ideally NVQ Level 2-3 qualified in plumbing and heating.
• Unvented qualification preferred, but not essential.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to send reports and be very clear on giving information.
• Must have own tools.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
