OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are recruiting for an experienced Industrial Electricians to work on a National Grid contract at Melksham Substation starting w/c 20th November. The work will involve

  • Glanding and Terminating multi-core cables in lcc, relay and protection panels Glanding and Terminating Circuit transformers (ct`s) VT`s, (Met boxes) Disconnectors, Earth switches and Brakes
  • Protection Change modifications (Reds & Greens)

Hours & Rates

  • 50hrs plus per week
  • £28/hr up to 50 hrs
  • £30/hr over 50 hrs

* Lodging allowance of £50/night if living over 50 miles from site

Must possess a Gold card and BESC Persons ticket, along with the necessary experience.
