We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Refrigeration Design Engineer for a leading business in the industry looking to expand their current team due to workload.

The successful candidate will be to produce high level designs in Industrial / Commercial Refrigeration and Process cooling plants. The successful candidate would be responsible for liaising with clients and ensuring that the clients design requirements are accurately fulfilled. You will further be responsible for producing quotations for the proposed Refrigeration System Design.

This is a permanent role and will require candidates to work out of the Leeds Office however remote working from home can be negotiated.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

Accurately estimate Industrial / Commercial Refrigeration projects and Process Cooling plants
Identifying correct tailored solution to meet customer requirements.
Carry out design and proposals
Plan and meet time lines in presenting Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration designs

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

*Good technical knowledge and experience in large commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
*Suitably qualified in a Mechanical Engineering/ Refrigeration discipline.
*Experience with P&ID & Refrigeration drawings using Autocad or a similar package.
*Experience in performing calculations in the areas of fluid mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer.
*Experience in different refrigeration system types i.E. Single stage and cascade systems, LN2 and CO2 cooling.
