Overview

Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for a Regional Maintenance Manager on behalf of a well-established Building Services Maintenance Contractor.

Established over 35 years, they provide reliable and professional management and support of your building needs throughout London and the South East.

They offer a range of services including Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Commercial & Domestic Gas Services, Electrical Services and Facilities Management. Their clients are mainly in the commercial sector and include schools and colleges.

As the Regional Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the mobile engineers, which would involve organising workloads and providing support to the office. This position is based in Bracknell, requiring the individual to come to the office several times a week. The role also necessitates travel to London to manage various sites, as this is where the majority of the work is located. You would be overseeing a team of 7 engineers.

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm, and the salary is paying £50k – £60k per annum. Perks include Company Car or Car Allowance + Pension + Sick Pay + 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays. They are looking at increasing the annual leave allowance.

Responsibilities

• Managing the onsite paperwork – ensuring all is up to date and correct.
• Allocating jobs to the engineers where necessary.
• Uploading new site information into the new system ensuring all details are correct.
• Liaising with the office and setting up new site paperwork where needed.
• Overseeing emails from clients.
• Ordering materials for quoted jobs and site stock if required.
• Ensuing all jobs are completed and all required information has been uploaded.
• Managing the engineers.

Skills & Attributes

• Relevant minimum qualification (HNC/NVQ or equivalent) in either mechanical or electrical discipline.
• A demonstrated history of successfully delivering Mechanical, Electrical and Building Management packages.
• Able to hit the ground running, be flexible with a can-do attitude.
• Strong M&E/Building Services/HVAC background.
• Proven aptitude overseeing day-to-day management. Self disciplined.
• A good understanding of Health and Safety.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
