The Opportunity

Due to continued growth this leading national independent supplier of safety products is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer. They are market leaders in machinery safety engineering, their capabilities include the design and installation of the most appropriate safety solutions for the end client.  They integrate mechanical & electrical safety systems to provide the most cost effective and user friendly systems. Services include

  • Electrical Upgrades
  • New & Upgraded Safety Circuits
  • Perimeter Guarding
  • Bespoke Guarding
  • Fixed Machinery Access
  • ESPE/AOPD Testing
  • EN ISO (phone number removed) Verification & Validation
  • Independent Part Sales
  • CE Marking
  • PUWER

Client include: Britvic, BAE Systems, Nestle, Caterpillar, Dunlop, Siemens, Tata Steel.

 

The Position

As the Field Service Engineer you will work closely with an experienced Engineer carrying out routine maintenance and servicing on a variety of machines on the client site, working throughout the UK. You will receive fully training and there will be a defined career path to Engineer level.

 

The Person

The ideal candidate will possess an electrical engineering background gained within a manufacturing environment.

You should possess electrical qualifications, such as NVQs, C&G 1-3.

Previous experience working as a Service engineer would be a distinct advantage
