Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor on behalf of a Water Treatment & Hygiene Specialist company based in Peterborough.

Established for over 30 years, they have a wealth of knowledge in water treatment, water hygiene and legionella management. They provide a total water solution for water treatment and water hygiene in Commercial, Industrial and Domestic environments.

As the Legionella Risk Assessor, you be responsible for carrying out legionella risk assessments, writing technical reports and providing recommendations for remedial works.

Reporting to the Contract Managers you will work on a large variety of properties including offices, schools, care homes and healthcare facilities.

We are looking for candidates ideally based in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Birmingham.

Immediate starts are also available for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments.
• Writing technical reports.
• Providing recommendations for remedial works.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of new techniques and technologies.
• Prepared to travel as they have clients across the nation.
• Attend training courses when required.
• Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices.

Skills and Attributes

• Previous experience in carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments of commercial, industrial and domestic environments.
• Qualified to city & guilds standard or equivalent.
• Conversant with ACOP L8.
• Ability to draw schematics that are fully compliant with BS8580.
• Able to work individually, aswell as in a team.
• Well organised and good interpersonal skills.
• Full UK Driving License.
