OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Opportunity
Continued growth of this leading national M&E Contractor and Data Communications provider is currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their busy commercial department.
The role involves:
- Preparing and completing multiple tenders from small works to large projects, often working to tight deadlines
- Analysing project plans to provide detailed cost estimates
- Fostering positive relationship with key clients
- Liaising with clients where necessary to obtain information to support tender preparation
- Making preliminary assessments of overhead costs and preparing tender summaries for management
The Person
- A solid background in estimating on mechanical building services projects
- Able to work independently.
- Experience of working on light industrial, commercial, accommodation and education projects.
