Our client is a leading, well-established M&E Contractor with a reputation of providing a quality service to a variety of sectors, including health, education, commercial and marine.

Due to increased demand there is an exciting and challenging new opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Manager to join their team. The successful Mechanical Project Manager will be offered a career that includes exposure to projects across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the rest of the UK.  You’ll be working in an office using market leading tools.

The Position

As the Mechanical Project Manager you will report directly to the directors, and be responsible for the following key areas;

• Overseeing a team of Engineers
• Monitoring & Managing Project Costs
• Reviewing drawing and specifications to prepare accurate costings
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures
• Reviewing tender documents
• Ensuring all submissions are compliant, accurate and to the standard required
• Break down scope of work into definable tasks (WBS development).
• Supporting others within the department

The Person

• You should preferably be an apprentice trained mechanical engineer from a plumbing and /or heating background
• Managerial / Supervisory experience
• Excellent communicator
• Good organisational skills
