Overview

Due to continuous expansion we are currently recruiting for a Project Manager/Project Engineer on behalf of a long-established diesel generator manufacturer based in Northamptonshire.

They have been manufacturing generators for over 40 years and supply power generating solutions to a large UK client base.

Their services range from supplying parts, design & manufacture, installations, commissioning and also service & maintenance works. They provide their services to a wide range of industries including commercial premises, hospitals and data centres.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing Contracts from the receipt of order to hand over including all technical and financial aspects of the contract.

Role Description

• Responsible for project managing the Generator contracts from receipt of order stage, through delivery, installation and also commissioning.
• Attend hand-over meetings with sales departments to take ownership of projects.
• Liaise with the Sales and Design team.
• Management of site sub-contractors.
• Carry out site surveys and liaise with customers.
• Organise and attend client site technical meetings.
• Carry out quality audits upon request.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Health & Safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH or IOSH.
• Experience using CAD/AutoCAD would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of Generators and Control Systems would also be a bonus.
• Ability to read drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Previous experience managing sub-contractors.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK Driving License.
