Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Storesman on behalf of the capitals leading maintenance service companies providing plumbing, heating, drainage, and other various services to both domestic & commercial clients.

With their fleet of service vehicles, fully qualified engineers, and dedicated office team they offer a genuine 24-hour 7-day service covering all their customer’s maintenance issues and requirements.

You will be expected to deliver a high standard of work with excellent customer services using your technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities and a can-do attitude.

This role may suit someone looking to slow down or do less physical work after working on the tools or someone who has worked for plumbing or building merchants.

Responsibilities

• Responsible on a daily basis for the efficient running of the stores.
• Carryout regular stock checks and ensuring the correct equipment is available for engineers to load into their vans first thing in the morning, returning, checking and cleaning of returned plant & equipment.
• Responsible for arranging all service and vehicle checks, liaising with engineers on a daily basis to ensure their vehicles are road worthy and running efficiently.

Skills & Attributes

• Ability to co-operate and work well with others
• Great time keeping & punctuality is a necessity
• Good customer service skills with the ability to deal with customers
• Hold a full UK driving licence
