OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Having been awarded several new National Grid contracts this leading specialist contractor into the Power Industry is recruiting for a team of 4 Wiremen for 4 to 5 months.

The work will involve building panels and racks to supply and control security, network and CCTV systems fitted at various oil and gas sites and Cadent gas/power plants. The equipment used is mainly Cisco switching and routing apparatus, various SFP modules; both CAT6 and fiber patch cables/panels along with lightning protection. The electrical side consists of various power supplies and protection equipment to supply the networking equipment.

Previous experience is essential, along with one or more of the following;

  • EUSR
  • Competent Person
  • BESC
