We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager on behalf of a national provider of Commissioning, Project Management and Maintenance services for Community and District Heating Schemes throughout the Uk.
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for the Quality Management System by ensuring that the highest standards and levels of performance, customer service, engineering and health and safety are met at all times.
Role Description
• Continually review the QMS to ensure that ISO accreditation is maintained.
• Ensure operational policy with standards and procedures are implemented through regular audits.
• Identify and escalate any quality system risks that impact the company.
• Create and monitor the QMS document control system across all functions and locations.
• Collate and distribute monthly audit results to the Senior Management Team
• Research and recommend improvements in line with legislation and best practice.
• Provide support for Team Leaders, Department Managers and Staff on the interpretation and implementation of H&S and Quality initiatives within their remits.
• Train all staff on the QMS
• Quality Assurance of compliance to contractual obligations
• Health and Safety Management on all sites and working procedures, ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory health and safety requirements
• Ensure that all departments are compliant with H&S legislation including safety committee meeting, risk assessments, training, awareness etc and that these are documented accurately
• Develop and maintain the H&S audit plan to ensure standards are maintained – inclusive of any relevant training.
• Generate a monthly report on KPI’s in respect to H&S
• Ensure that all accreditations, registrations, licences etc are applied for in a timely manner to ensure memberships are always in date.
Skills & Attributes
• Relevant QA qualification.
• IOSH H&S qualification required
• Previous experience of auditing
• Strong influencing skills to ensure that actions are followed through and delivered.
• Strong man management skills to control a remote team of field engineers
• Ability to foresee and/or react quickly to problems.
