OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Opportunity
Our client is a national specialist contractor working in the Power Industry. Having been awarded several new National Grid contracts they are recruiting for experienced Electricians and Improvers for 4-5 months, immediate starts.
The Job
The tasks include: installation of control panels, design and manufacturing of cable tray, running cables from control panels to various pieces of equipment, reading and working from drawings (wiring diagrams, reds and greens and schematics), glanding and termination of cables, wiring modifications inspection and testing, fault finding and assisting with the commissioning.
This work is carried to National Grid’s high standards and under their high voltage regulations.
The Person
The successful candidate should have the relevant National Grid experience and at least one of the following tickets;
- EUSR Person
- EUSR BESC
- EUSR Competent Person
